In case you wonder why she came to the US: As a little girl growing up in the Haarlem area (Holland -the Netherlands - NL), Linda had a great sense of adventure and felt the whole world was open to her. Both of her parents had worked abroad and she just knew she too would end up living in another country. She started international travel at the age of 13 and spent summers leading American exchange students through her country, practising her English. At age 19 she worked in a kibbutz in Israel as a volunteer and became the work planner for a crew of 45 young people, originating from 7 countries. The experience in dealing with different nationalities and cultures set the choice for her career in Human Resources, where she combined her broad interest in employment dynamics with her genuine people skills. She obtained her B.Sc. in HR in The Hague (NL) at the Academy for Social Studies and was a HR professional/recruiter in Europe for 12 years in IT industry in Rotterdam(NL) and London (UK), international hotel industry, managed a staffing agency and was an interim HR coordinator at a group of nursing homes in Rotterdam. In 1991 she immigrated to the US after several years of traveling back and forth to Seattle.
